We had experienced an issue with one of our tickets the employee at the ticket counter suggested I speak with the manager. The manager fixed the ticket issue and allowed my grandson to enjoy his special day. It's a theme park yes but it's the people that make it great!

As platinum pass holders we highly recommend Sea World! My kids enjoy it more than Disney due to the thrill coaster. They enjoy the bigger, faster roller coaster. I love that you can relax and watch shows as well to cool off.

They do not run their amusement park rides very efficiently. The rides were a nightmare. Ride times would say 5 minute wait and it was an hour. The new Expedition Odyssey ride is a disappointment for a brand new ride. It was literally 4 minutes of drone footage edited together. There was no story line, no real education. School trips seemed to dominate lines. Lots of shuffling for all the kids to ride together or ride with the appropriate age/ height chaperone, which left the other guests to the school’s mercy. I get they have to stay together and they’re trying to have fun too, it just wasn’t managed well. The ride operators are not very well trained to run them smoothly. Trains were filled, exiting and entering was a mess. The rides were not a good experience. The shows are good, we had been here a few years ago as a family and they were the same. We enjoy the sea lion show the most and the mime, he’s a lot of fun! We tried a different experience this time since we were on a special trip with just one of our children. We did the lunch with orcas. It seemed like a good deal at $35 per person, with a decent looking menu. I was told check in started at 12:15, so I went back at 12:10 and they were already seating people. Then I asked about seating and they said your table was determined when you bought your ticket. That’s fine, but at least one table didn’t even show, so there was a spot right along the window where you can see the orcas well. I do wish it would show seating when you purchase your tickets, let you choose your table, or see what’s available, because there is a row of seats right along the window line and a row on the inside as well. They shouldn’t even have the inside seating because you can’t see the water, presenters, or orcas very well. The food was okay. I have some dietary restrictions, which the server asked at the beginning and said she would bring a special menu out. The menu was the same, it just showed what common allergens were in each dish and it wasn’t specific - for example - I ended up getting the Grilled BBQ Chicken, with mashed potatoes, that was marked for most common allergens (gluten, dairy, soy), so I still had to ask specifically about the dishes to figure out what not to get on it that had the ingredients I could not have. Basically I could have plain grilled chicken with grilled veggies and fruit as a side. Which is fine, it just seemed like the allergy menu wasn’t labeled like what I was expecting. Knowing what it is now, I don’t think we would do it again unless there is someone really interested in orcas and wants to talk to the trainers. Of course everything is expensive - I bought a bottle of water because it was closer than a drink station and it was $6+. Otherwise it was a good day. The trainers are all very enthusiastic and willing to talk. Personally, I don’t think it is a place I would visit for entertainment often. I feel like twice in 2 years has checked the box.

I love me some Seaworld however, the security there is weird. While waiting for the rest of my party, a group of us stood near the exit gate. Security personnel came over and said we can’t wait there because it has to be clear for ppl to exit . Mind you though at that time the particular gate side was closed and the other side was open. We weren’t in anyone’s way , make it make sense . Guess he just needed to flex his position for the moment .

I recently spent the day at SeaWorld Orlando, and I have to say—it completely blew me away. This park has something for everyone: heart-racing coasters, incredible animal encounters, and a surprising amount of educational value woven into the fun. 🎢 Coasters That Leave You Breathless I rode every major coaster in the park, and they’re no joke. Mako was my personal favorite—it's insanely smooth, fast, and offers that weightless “airtime” feeling that keeps you coming back for more. Manta gives you that wild flying sensation, and Kraken is a floorless beast that twists and dives with serious power. I also tried Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, and it’s a unique thrill—riding while standing made it feel like I was catching a wave at high speed. 📍 Perfect Location SeaWorld’s location couldn’t be more convenient. We were staying near Universal Studios, and the park was just a short ride away. It’s right on International Drive, surrounded by hotels, food spots, and other major attractions—super easy to work into a busy Orlando trip. 🧠 Surprisingly Educational What I didn’t expect was how educational it all was. The animal shows and exhibits really opened my eyes to the conservation work SeaWorld does. You can tell they’re passionate about ocean life, and I actually learned a lot while watching dolphins, orcas, and sea lions in action. It’s the kind of learning that doesn’t feel like learning. 🐬 Great for Families Too Even if you’re not a coaster junkie, there’s plenty for families. Sesame Street Land looked like a blast for younger kids, and they’ve added new live shows and interactive experiences that bring characters like Baby Shark to life with a conservation twist. 🌟 Final Thoughts This wasn’t just another theme park visit—it was a full experience. SeaWorld delivered non-stop excitement, some genuinely eye-opening moments, and memories I’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re in Orlando, do yourself a favor and spend a day here. Easily a five-star day.

Way better than Busch Garden's, but the prices for food are insane! Almost 9$ for a churro, and they are not even made fresh for that price? There is the food pass, but it really is not difficult to just leave the park and come back. Just remember that it normally storms around 4 in Orlando, so plan for the park to get shut down for lightning around then. Safety first.
