I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about how terrible the Magical Dining booking experience is. Here’s the short version: It’s absolutely terrible and non-intuitive. Now, as for the longer version, the system SW uses for Magical Dining reservations is confusing, clunky, and inefficient. Because of their terrible system, I ran into all kinds of problems once I arrived at SW, which there was no way for me to anticipate. 1 - The available times that come up do not match the actual time that the restaurant seats Magical Dining patrons. There’s nowhere on the booking site that tells you Magical Dining starts at 2:30 pm nor is a confirmation email sent with this information. It gets worse: the system allows you to select and book times well ahead of the 2:30 pm time! I encountered all kinds of confusion over this when I got there and had many ticket booth attendants respond to me in a very rude way when inquiring about it. Particularly the folks in the first set of booths window 3 and the second set of booths (thinking it was either 6 or 7) were incredibly rude today! I spoke with two supervisors that were even more rude than the RF attendants! I was absolutely appalled. 2 - Once you go through security, there is no signage that directs you to where Magical Dining check in is. Several people stood in the main ticket line only to be directed to booth three and BTW, there’s no way for you to know when you’re at booth three or where it is because it’s not numbered at the very top. Only the Attendants know the booth numbers. That is completely unacceptable. 3 - Per the attendants they can’t communicate directly with the restaurant or the escorts that take park guests to the restaurant. I kept asking if they could call the restaurant for me to confirm my reservation because of all the confusion with the times and they kept saying they couldn’t. Also, I tried calling the restaurant directly and no answer! I don’t get why they’re not able to touch base with the restaurant when they know people are going hit the ticket booths first! 4 - The email confirmation is very skeletal and contains no helpful information or know before you go type info. I kept thinking it would come in before the day of and nope…never did. The one and only reason I gave two stars is because of the magical dining escorts themselves! They were super nice and accommodating. Those awful front booth attendants can learn something from them. Once they came around everything got better! I also got wonderful service at Sharks Underwater Grill and the food was pretty good! I really hope SW invests in a better reservation system down the line. Refusal to do so could mean possibly no Magical Dining anymore and that’s a huge revenue maker for them!

Had great Experience. We went in early September and were able to ride almost all rides with a 10 minute or less wait time. Food options are not great but we loved the shows and rides. Penguin Trek was a stand out experience for us, the exhibit after the ride is well done and fun. We will be back.

I would like to say that me and my family drove all the way from North Carolina to visit and have vacation here at SeaWorld and every single restaurant that we went to every cook and worker in the kitchen had an attitude. I don’t think that with the prices of how things are at SeaWorld that you should be treated that sort of way so just a fair warning to anybody that is visiting get ready to deal with attitudes in the restaurants.

Kids always love it here. The l9ve the rides as well as the shows throughout the park. App never shows the times for the shows which is frustrating.
