Charles, our guide and driver, was prompt, friendly and engaging. He was easy to talk to and ask questions of. His fund of information and the use of the placards at each sight was very informative. At times he struggled a bit with English, but was always able to get his points across and at times his special emphasis on significant events was very helpful. Well worth the money.

Great full day trip/tour to Saint Emilion for wine and sightseeing. Jerome was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He safely drove us comfortably from Bordeaux to the 3 wine Chateau for a tour and wine tasting. We also had a good couple of hours at a historic small town… love the view. Highly recommended. My husband and I completed the half day wine tour to St Emilion. Our guide was prompt and met us in the correct location. She was knowledgeable and entertaining with many good tidbits about wine and history as well as other local attractions. One half day with one wine tasting was a good balance for us.

I was lucky to book last minute & got the last seat available on the same day. From pick up to drop off I had the best experience. Matt, our tour guide, was so lovely & incredibly knowledgeable. I loved how he described everything, not only the landings but how the lives of the locals were affected. Even if you are not into war history, you won’t be able to help but be enthralled by his storytelling. Omaha Beach & the cemetery are very special places but Point du Hoq is a real high point. Will be coming back next year with family & fully intend on booking with this tour group & Matt again.

Matt was an excellent guide. He changed the order of the sites to avoid the weather and crowds which made our day even better. His respect for the ones who fought showed in his presentation of the D-Day battles. They were filled with interesting stories and facts. His passion and enthusiasm were second to none and I would recommend him to anyone wanting a tour of the D-Day beaches.
