This was such an engaging tour. Matt did a wonderful job telling the story of DDay with perspective and passion. We loved the half day spent with him hearing stories and learning about the brave many that fought and lost their lives in Normandie.

Today was my second wine tour with Julie who is local to the region. She was well versed in the regional wine, food, and was happy to recommend great restaurants, wine bars, and chocolate shoppes. Highly recommend the full day tour of Saint-Ėmilion and the half day tour to Margeaux.

Visiting 3 Chateaus with tastings was tremendous. Rodolphe was an amazing tour guide; knowledgeable and humorous as well. Knowledge of Bordeaux region wines was enriched through this tour, highly recommend!

Judy was our guide for the day. I love how she love's her Bordeaux. She knows wine. She's so French. sweet and a little bit sassy, in a good way. We enjoyed the 3 vineyards, especially the first and last where the owners actually took the time to talk to us about "their" grapes and wine. Both of their operations were impeccable clean and neat. The second vineyard we visited was not as presentable. It was dirtier and stuff was scattered all over the place. Judy presented the wines to us at this vineyard. I do think it is more powerful and prideful when the owner actually takes the time to show us their product. If they love their wine... I will enjoy the love they put into it. Also love St. Emillon visit, such a beautiful place.
