We’ve a full day wine tour with Ophorus at the Saint Emilion region in Bordeaux and we enjoyed every single bit of it. Our tour guide, Jerome was great, knowledgeable, engaging and very attentive. The tour consisted of 3 different chateau visits (including wine tastings) and a tour around the Saint Emilion village which was magnificent. We 100% recommend it!

We had an amazing time during our tour with Rodolphe! We learned so much about both the regions we visited and the wines we tasted. The three chateaus we visited offered such rich history, interesting winemaking methods and of course - wonderful tastings. And the tour of St. Emilion was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We were glad we did this outing early in our visit to Bordeaux, because Rodolphe also offered great suggestions for the rest of our stay. Highly recommend!

Matt was an EXCELLENT, and I mean top of the line guide. He knows his stuff, and even shared many facts and perspectives that I was not personally knowledgeable on. I’m serious, this guy is probably the best guide I have ever had and I am traveling CONSTANTLY. It’s incredible how he explains what was going on historically before and during WW2, and provides context for some of the storylines that aren’t exactly published in books or general public knowledge. He has even gone to the extreme of interviewing survivors and local people who have directly experienced WW2 and German occupation. Talk about dedication to your craft. The most important thing about this tour (stated by Matt) is everyone, especially every American, should make it their personal mission to learn about these stories and history. He is right- the first hand accounts are few and far between, and it is actually important we learn our own history. You cannot truly learn this without an experience like this. THANKS MATT!

Had such a wonderful and fun experience!!! One of the highlights of our trip! Our tour guide Hugo was the absolute best!!! We visited 3 wineries and had lunch and a tour of the medieval village of Saint Emilion. We loved the wines and every aspect of this day. Highly recommend!!!! What a great day trip from Bordeaux.
