This is our 3rd time doing Na’pili Coast by boat. This time was our best trip. Cpt Makana, Lionel and Lily were awesome. Very friendly and shared great information. Had a great time and will choose this one again.

We had great time visiting Napali coast onboard Amelia K by Makana charters. Very pleasant staff at office and along the journey. Captain Mike, Lionel, and Liliana were informative, courteous, and just amazing. They made entire trip a wonderful experience. They explained their Hawaiian heritage and Napali coast in detail. Very keen eye to spot mountain goats, turtles, and whale spouting at far. Overall great experience and definitely recommend this company

The boat was fun and comfortable. I usually get seasick, but took dramamine before and had a wonderful time. Very little rocking even for November. The boat is fast so you spend more time on the coast than some other tours. You can also get up close and personal with the caves and coastline. If we had to chose only one cruise to do, this one would be it. We even snapped some pictures on the other cruise we went on.

We had an amazing experience with Makena Charters and Captain Mike. We saw three groups of dolphins on our way to the Na Pali coast. Enjoyed hearing first hand about the history of the land and the legacy of its people and got up close to the cliffs to see waterfalls and caves. It was incredible!

Makana Charters was such a great way to explore the Na Pali Coast! Our family loved the boat crew and all the things they showed us (dolphin pods, sea caves, whales (!)) and jumping off the boat into the beautiful Kauai ocean water

We were on a smaller boat with only 16 passengers, which allowed us to get in close to some of the caves and waterfalls along the Na Pali coast line. Captain Sean and first mate were terrific, explaining some of the history of the people who used to live there. We hung with a large pod of dolphins, and stopped to do some leisurely swimming. The excursion included water/soft drinks, a sandwich that you could order ahead of time & chips. Very enjoyable!

What a great tour! The views were gorgeous and the staff was amazing! Dave, Tony, and Lionel were so knowledgeable and friendly! We felt completely safe and learned so much about Hawaiian hiatory. We would definitely recommend this tour. Great for families and the Amelia K. is a great boat...especially in the winter swells. Can't wait for our next trip with them!

Such a memorable experience for my girlfriend and I. I’d been to the coast before but never as close as Makana took us. Got some great photos and even got to see dolphins and whales on the journey. 5 stars great job and shout out to captain Shaun and Charlie.

Four of us went on a ride this morning and had a fantastic time. The captain was great - very informative, professional and courteous. We learned quite a bit, saw some incredible views, had a great time snorkeling and the boat ride back was quite the adventure. Definitely recommend these guys - well Worth the price and the whole family gives the a 10 out of 10!

A perfect 10. Weather and sees were calm, captain Sean and Kana were fabulous and knowledgeable about local lore and geology. The Na Pali coast is spectacularly beautiful. The highlight of our Kauai experience.
