We liked the fact that this was a local company boat tour. We went on the morning tour and the weather was beautiful. Wonderful day, extraordinary sights—the cliffs, the caves, the monk seal on the beach, the 100 or so spinner dolphins all around us at one point! After we jumped off the boat (we are 77 years young!) and swam around in the ocean we had a tasty lunch of roast beef sandwiches. Our captain speared a fish for his dinner while we swam—no kidding! We all loved Ethan as he sang every song on the playlist. A great day!

This tour was amazing, the Na Pali Coast is absolutely beautiful. The crew were wonderful, taking care of us the whole way, making sure we had lots to drink and providing us with a great lunch. The vibe on the boat was fun, and the music had us singing the whole way. I recommend this tour with this company.

Had a fantastic experience on the NaPali boat tour. The crew was very nice, informative and made the tour fun, including music and singing. The snorkeling was great, saw baby dolphins, and the NaPali coast was amazing. We got up close to the coastline, went into sea caves and under waterfalls. Highly recommend this tour.

We loved that the tour was run by locals, telling local stories. They took us all along the the beautiful coast, in caves, through waterfalls, saw dolphins, swam from boat for a bit and saw the sunset. The crew was very polite and experienced. Mahalo!!,

Amazing experience- a must do! We took the afternoon tour- and got to take a dip in the ocean on our way back… and ended with a breathtaking sunset. Captain and crew were kind, friendly, fun and informative. Loved that it’s a locally owned and operated business. Clean boat, good sandwich and plenty of water and other drinks available. The whole experience was seamless- from registration to instructions and reminder texts- they set us up for a successful day on the water with scenic views and memories we will cherish forever. I’d highly recommend them!

We had the best time on the boat with Makana, Elijah, and Ethan. They went over all of the safety procedures clearly and kept the vibe of the tour light and fun, playing music along the way and chatting with everyone on board. The boat was super clean, which I appreciated since we were barefoot. Plenty of drinks and snacks for everyone to enjoy. My family had a memorable time and I would recommend this tour to everyone, including those with young kids.

Rhi and Lionel were awesome hosts, answered all of our random questions with local insights and honesty. They offered great recommendations for other things to do while in Hawaii based on their experience and our interests. Both had great, positive energy, were knowledgeable naturalists who could speak about the animals, plants, fish, and terrain, and had lots of unique insights and stories to share. Rhi was also a seasoned captain and got us into some tight caves on the Seiko II. Super fun all around, I’d recommend Makana to anyone visiting Kauai, and hope to see the coast with them again!

Absolutely Amazing Experience – Highly Recommend! We had such an incredible time on this boat tour! The guides were super chill, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable from start to finish. You could tell they genuinely loved what they were doing, and it really made the whole experience that much better. The views were absolutely unreal – like something out of a movie. It was one of those experiences that just stays with you. The food was simple but perfect for the setting – exactly what you'd want while out on the water. Plus, they kept the ice-cold sodas and waters flowing the whole time, which was such a nice touch. Overall, I’m so glad I booked this. It exceeded every expectation and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable day on the water!

Excellent adventure in Kauai! The Nāpali coast tour was breathtaking, loved the snorkeling, the dolphins (soooo many!), the waterfalls and caves, and the entire crew. The guys were super knowledgeable and quite entertaining 🌺🐬
