Everything we wanted and more! We rented the whole boat as a family as a breeding event. The crew is so knowledgeable about the island and the Na Pali coast. We heard all kinds of geology and anthropological fun facts from them. All great personalities. Went snorkeling, saw dolphins, learned about the epic cliffs. All of our family had so much fun!

I highly recommend Makana Charters for their morning Nepali Coast/Snorkel cruise. Captain Mike is very knowledgeable regarding the Nepali Coast. The crew were fabulous and friendly. Not to worry, they know exactly what to do when someone gets seasick as I did!

Makana Charters is THE company to book for tours and snorkeling on the Na Pali Coast in Kauai. My husband and I had the best experience with them on the Amelia K. We were smiling and laughing the entire trip! Mike was our captain and Lionel and Shelby were our crew - all three were fabulous, knowledgeable, hospitable, and so kind. They are a Hawaiian owned and operated company who are so passionate about Hawaiian history and showing tourists an amazing time. We even saw dolphin pods (with babies!), sea turtles, tons of fish, and seals! 100/10 experience!

Beautiful trip along the Na Pali coast. Captain Mike and his crew, Ethan and Asia were excellent. It was interesting learning about the Hawaiian culture and history. Would highly recommend this tour.

We did our tour on the Amelia K. Captain Mike, Ethan aand Asia were great! The information they shared about the NaPali Coast was fantastic and the views were amazing. Truly one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. On the way back we even saw some dolphins. We also were able to watch an amazing sunset. I highly recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed!

This was by far the best trip up the NaPali Coast line. The crew was amazing! They were very informative and fun. The winds made the water a little choppy, but our captain made us feel save. This is an excellent run charter company. I would recommend to everyone!

This was a definite highlight on our vacation to Kauai! It was so beautiful and so much fun! Shawn and Kiole were just great and so personable. The lunch was good too! Don’t second guess it, just book it!! This was our first time to vacation here and I was worried about booking it, but it’s so worth it. The views were spectacular and no one got sick on our ride. So fun!!!

What a great experience!!! I completely forgot I brought my wrong swim suit and my camera cover was foggy (until after of course when I saw my photos) while I was on the tour ;) The captain, A’a (forgive the spelling if it is wrong) and his son were a great crew filled with kindness and knowledge! I loved the dolphins and the caves along the coast!! The water was a bit choppy that day so the snorkeling wasn’t the best to see a variety of fish in HOWEVER the rest of the journey was so lovely I still give them 5 stars!! The birthday acknowledgment that was given to me at the end of the boat ride was so sweet I had to try not to cry <3 I’m pretty sure no one else on the boat knew that this was a big birthday trip for me to get centered so this nod to my mana really meant a lot. Mahalo Makana Charters I hope to see you all again soon!!!

The crew was good. Rough ride Lots of people got sea sick. We got pretty close to shore and felt unsafe by the caves. I preferred the helicopter tour of Napoli coast

Awesome trip to the Napoli coast with several stops to enjoy the view and learn the lore from a very knowledgeable guide. Saws lots of dolphins on the way out. On the return trip we enjoyed snorkeling amidst a variety of beautiful fish and a few turtles and then enjoyed tasty sandwiches before heading back to the harbor. Highly recommend!

Captain Mike and Asia are literally the best you can get. The ride was smooth, the information that Asia provided was informative, detailed and humorous. When we stopped to snorkel I lost my wedding ring of 34 years had slid off and sank, with help from another visitor who just happened to see it shining at the bottom, Asia retrieved it. Forever grateful If your thinking of taking a boat tour, take them hands down Mahalo
