Extremely gaudy tourist trap. If you want to see bran castle, just stay outside and take pictures. Very crowded. Expensive. You are guided to go from one room to another with arrows. A bit overrated and definitely not worth the ticket price. The castle is much smaller than I imagined, and the biggest disappointment is that “Dracula” — Vlad the Impaler — had very little to do with this place. It’s heavily commercialized and feels more like a tourist trap than a historical site. Wouldn’t really recommend unless you're in the area and very curious.
