The most advertised castle in Romania, due to its link with the Dracula (Vlad Tepes) story. It's not the most beautiful one though. However, it makes for a nice day trip while in Brasov. Corvin Castle near Sibiu and Peles Castle in Sinaia would be preferred!

Kinda good and exciting if u read the book but way too crowded! Nothing personal but it’s just a matter of safety, the stairs in some points are REALLY small and people just misbehave :((((( Really easy to get there from Braşov

Really enjoyed our visit. The castle and grounds are well presented, there's lots of exhibits to see and lots of information about the castle, the exhibits and the occupants over the years. Plus of course the focus on Vlad ('Drac')!! We spent about 2 1/2 hours there. We paid extra for the 'Torture Chamber' visit which was interesting albeit a bit gory BUT the extra we also paid for 'The Time Tunnel' was a waste of money as there is nothing much to view! Highly recommended!!!

Unico grande difetto? Siamo andati di sabato e abbiamo aspettato più di un’ora in fila fuori. Troppa gente e poca organizzazione. Peccato, perché toglie un po’ di magia.
