Am platit 360 de lei pentru 2 persoane, iar dupa ce am platit la aparat am intrebat daca avem si ghid inclus, “doamna” care se ocupa de bilete ne-a luat la misto, ca in banii astia sa intre si ghidul? Dar 360 de lei, este putin, pentru un tur de 60 de minute, doamna? Ne-am permis sa deranjam cu intrebari inutile, luati fiind in ras! 🙂 Pacat, totul este pentru bani!

★★★☆☆ I visited Bran Castle mainly out of curiosity, already knowing that its popular association with Dracula is much stronger than its actual historical connection to the character. For me, the more interesting part of the visit was not Dracula at all, but the history of the castle and particularly its connection with Queen Marie of Romania. Looking at it from that perspective made the visit more worthwhile than approaching it as a “Dracula castle.” The castle itself is relatively small and the interior is fairly modest. It was interesting to walk through, but I would keep expectations realistic: its international fame is much bigger than the experience of the castle itself. Visitor management was somewhat better than at Peleș Castle, although the site was still busy. The exterior and surrounding landscape are pleasant, and the visit works well enough if you are already interested in its history or simply curious to see such a famous place for yourself. Overall, 3 out of 5. Interesting for its history and Queen Marie connection, and worth satisfying my curiosity, but I would not consider it an essential attraction or visit primarily for the Dracula mythology.
