Surrounded by beautiful nature, dense forests, Bran is not just a building - it is a strange feeling. As you walk through its stone corridors, climb the narrow stairs, you feel a slight chill even though there are hundreds of people around you. I think it is a real experience when you walk alone through these walls... The foot of the hill on which Bran Castle rises lives with a special rhythm throughout the year - the tradition of the Romanian fair is held here with colorful stalls, the smells of local food and handicrafts that tell the stories of old crafts. There is also an open-air museum here, a real treasure of folk architecture, where authentic village houses from different parts of Romania are displayed - barns, mills and craft workshops. Walking through this village under the castle walls, the visitor has the impression that time has stood still and that legends and customs still live on, only in a different form. In the shadow of centuries, there is also a beautiful green park that completes the overall picture. In the middle of the dramatic landscape of mystical Romania, this park combines history and nature in a unique way. With paths winding between century-old trees, bridges, and ponds, the park is a perfect respite after a tour of the castle where you can "catch up" your feelings and thoughts. Here, time somehow slows down as nature tries to tell legends, but not the ones we find in books, but rather the feeling in the breath of the wind, the treetops, and the view of the hill that holds the secrets of the centuries. Kasnije je služio kao carinska stanica pa kao kraljevska rezidencija a danas je muzej koji čuva nameštaj, oružje i umetnine iz doba kraljice Marije Rumunske. Okružen prelepom prirodom, gustim šumama, Bran nije samo građevina - to je neki čudan osećaj. Dok koračaš kroz njegove kamene hodnike, penješ se uskim stepenicama, osetiš blagu jezu iako je oko tebe stotine ljudi. Mislim da je pravi doživljaj kada se čovek prošeta sam kroz ove zidine... Podnožje brda na kome se uzdiže zamak Bran tokom cele godine živi posebnim ritmom - tu se održava tradicija rumunskog vašara sa šarenim štandovima, mirisima domaće hrane i rukotvorinama koje pričaju priče starih zanata. Ovde se nalazi i muzej na otvorenom, pravo blago narodnog graditeljstva, gde su prikazane autentične seoske kuće iz raznih krajeva Rumunije - ambari, vodenice i zanatske radionice. Šetajući kroz ovo selo pod zidinama zamka, posetilac ima utisak da vreme stoji i da su legende i običaji i dalje živi samo u drugom obliku.
