Yes it's beautiful and the history is amazing but, you should not buy a ticket voor 70 lei (18 euro) stand in line for 1 hour and then when you enter the castle you have to walk in a line and your not free to roam around. If i had know you just also could enter the garden for free i would have only done that.

I can almost imagine the castle being interesting... except for the hoards of people. There's a line of humanity stretching from the street and it winds its way through the castle. You're shuffling along with someone pressed behind you and in front of you. I guess if you really like standing in line and want to do it in a castle in Romania, then this place is for you. The 'people in charge' should really limit the number of visitors per day and not diminish their cultural heritage.
