(Translated by Google) It reminded me of horror movies, because that whole area is very suitable for that.

(Translated by Google) We recommend buying a fast line ticket because the waiting line can be as long as 1-2 hours. However, considering that parking is 10eur/hour, it is cheaper to go with the more expensive ticket. NB! If you want to pay for parking in euros, then actually although they say 10eur/hour, we got 2 hours for 15eur, we said that it is a fair exchange. It is also cramped inside at times. The castle itself is not excessively large, nor scary for children :). It took us and my family 1 hour together, going up and coming back. (Original) Soovitame osta fast line pileti kuna ootejärjekord võib olla koguni 1-2 tundi. arvestades aga, et parkimine on 10eur/tund siis tuleb soodsam minna kallima piletiga. NB!

(Translated by Google) Don't bother with this castle; it's far too expensive for what it is, and incredibly crowded. Even the skip-the-line ticket isn't worth it because it's packed once you're inside. It's very small and a victim of its own tourism. Plus, they try to squeeze even more money out of you with extra options. I recommend Peles Castle instead, at the same price.

(Translated by Google) The castle is small but picturesque. It's entertaining to look at, and the decor and information are interesting. The visit is short, and there isn't much to see. It heavily emphasizes the connection between Bran and Dracula, which makes it very crowded and detracts from the overall experience.

Visiting Bran Castle on a weekday morning was an absolute dream, and I couldn't recommend it enough. We arrived early, before the crowds, and found ourselves walking right up to the entrance with no lines at all. This made the experience feel incredibly personal, as if we had the castle almost to ourselves. The castle itself is a magnificent sight, perched dramatically on a cliff. The architecture is captivating, with its sharp turrets and red rooftops, living up to every expectation. Stepping inside, the narrow staircases and winding corridors transport you back in time. The rooms are a mix of medieval and royal furnishings, each telling a piece of the castle's complex history. It was fascinating to learn about its past, not as the home of Dracula, but as a royal residence. The early morning quiet allowed us to truly appreciate the craftsmanship and the intricate details without feeling rushed. The entire experience felt like a private journey through history. The lack of crowds meant we could take our time, read the informational plaques, and fully soak in the atmosphere. The courtyards and terraces offered stunning views of the surrounding Transylvanian landscape, bathed in the soft morning light. If you're planning a trip to Bran Castle, arriving early on a weekday is a game-changer and the key to a truly magical visit.

(Translated by Google) Very disappointed, the price is way too high for what there is to see, half of the castle closed, even the bathrooms were closed, both in the castle and in the restaurant. I honestly regret the visit to Bran.

(Translated by Google) The story is poorly handled. The digital materials used in the museum are childish. To associate a place with such history solely with Dracula is a shortcut. The presentation of the torture instruments could be enhanced with animation. I recommend a night out in the natural beauty surrounding the castle.

Is nice, but overrated, everyone expect more because of the Dracula story that has nothing to do with the place itself

(Translated by Google) A disappointing experience... We paid 200 lei per person for priority access tickets, so that we wouldn't have to wait in line. We were happy because it came with a guided tour included, in addition to saving us from the queue. The queue was about 200 meters long, on a Monday, in August 2025. The guided tour was poorly organized. They put us together, Romanians and foreigners (as almost everywhere, the Romanian, understanding, accepts to do the tour in English, so that everyone understands; we accepted too). Some of the people, a little angry, rightly so, because they came from a cruise and had been promised a separate tour, just for them. Inside, in the castle, an indescribable crowd... we were one on one, both tourists with and without a guided tour, from beginning to end. This denotes the greed of the current owners. In other places, in Romania or abroad, there is a limit on the number of tourists per hour, but at Bran Castle it is by the number of people (money to spend). Our guide didn't even wait for us to all get into the room he was in, before he started talking. It was harder for us to hear him, because they didn't give us headphones and it was, as I said, noisy. Anyway, we heard 80%, enough to convince ourselves that he wasn't saying anything interesting. After the guided tour, we visited the "time tunnel", also included in the 200 lei ticket, for which we stood in a very slow-moving queue. The time tunnel is basically a long room, with images on screens of Vlad the Impaler and others, who seemed to be looking after you depending on how you moved. Nothing impressive. The only nice thing was the elevator ride to the tunnel, because as it went down, images were projected on the walls of the elevator, something rather interesting for children. I give an extra star because, in a small room, old videos of the royal family were playing, especially Queen Maria. The furniture, the costumes in the castle... nothing is original, everything is replicas. If you want interesting stories and original things, go to the Bran National Museum, located opposite, which, unfortunately, is housed in a former guesthouse building. The ladies there will tell you a lot. In 2011, when I was there the previous time, it was much more airy, more pleasant, more civilized. If you have a choice between Peleș and Bran, go to Peleș.

(Translated by Google) Very poor unfortunately, there are about 10 rooms open, of which 2 have to be paid extra, and it's not even worth it, a few pictures on the walls, little furniture, TVs in some rooms and some projected on the walls... Way too many people, you should restrict and let groups of max 30 people inside so you can at least breathe! The tickets are way too expensive for what they offer, it's a total disappointment. Too bad.. We won't be coming again... Pacat.. Nu mai venim...
