Even if you don't want to visit the interior but want to access the garden for photos, you still have to pay for the ticket, so I recommend doing so. Visiting the castle in mid-September and arriving fairly early in the morning (around 10 a.m.), I didn't find any lines and was able to buy the ticket directly on site (there are also numerous automatic ticket machines that allow you to do so in just a few minutes). It's a must-see if you're in Bucharest or the surrounding area. There are stalls around where I didn't find any interesting items. I recommend purchasing directly from the castle shop. L'interno è un castello medievale a tutti gli effetti, con degli oggetti molto interessanti e belli da vedere. Anche se non si volesse visitare gli interni ma si volesse accedere al giardino per poter fare le foto, occorre comunque pagare il biglietto, quindi consiglio di farlo. Visitando il castello verso metà Settembre e arrivando la mattina piuttosto presto (circa le 10) non ho trovato fila e ho avuto la possibilità di fare il biglietto direttamente in loco (vi sono anche numerose casse automatiche che permettono di farlo in modo autonomo in pochissimi minuti). È una visita da fare se vi trovate a Bucarest o nei dintorni. Attorno bancarelle dove non ho trovato cose interessanti. Consiglio di acquistare direttamente allo shop del castello.

Such a beautiful castle, so breathtaking. So much to see and to read. I would recommend the torture chamber for sure as an extra. Time tunnel not so much. Just take your time adoring all the furniture and views. Gift shop was not that good, luckily there is alot of stalls outside of the castle grounds. I even booked the castle tickets for a wrong day, they were so helpful with changing the ticket for the day i was suppose to visit them.
