Bran castle. We went on Monday when it opens at 12 and there was a long queue. When we finished after 2 pm, no queue! (in June). We also did the "chamber of horror" which made me quizzy. The café in the garden has decent prices and we relaxed there with a drink and chips afterwards. We spend just under 3 hrs in the Castle area.

I absolutely recommend this visit to anyone in Romania: it's a unique experience worth doing at least once. Ho visitato anche la sezione dedicata agli strumenti di tortura: sicuramente è una parte forte della visita e non piacevole per ciò che rappresenta, ma è interessante dal punto di vista storico e aiuta a comprendere meglio il passato. Il castello è magnifico, ben conservato e ricco di fascino. Mi sono piaciuti molto gli ambienti, l’architettura e il panorama che lo circonda.
