Unexpectedly rewarding tour
Blue Mountain’s hop on hop off bus I took this explorer bus and got exceptionally rewarding experiences. All of the information regarding the routes, bus time, place of interests around each stop are so detailed and clearly provided. I was fortunate to meet driver guides Ms. Ella and Mr. Tom John, both are so knowledgeable about all the places passing by, and they were so kind and passionate to give relevant information and advice. We had 2 drivers on our trip, first was good, second was outstanding. Weather was poor so views were hit and miss but the driver was so entertaining, also knowledgeable. Highly recommend this hop on, hop off tour

Good way to explore
Useful way to get to some of the main spots in and around Katoomba. Appreciated that that the drivers (in particular Ella) adjusted their commentary / recommendations to accommodate the wet weather.

friendly driver, ready to answer your questions. Our only wish was that the rai wouldve held off because with rain comes fog and kinda hard to see the valley when covered with fog.

Amazing agency, the bus ride was so cool, with live commentary and their overall services were amazing. They were very quick, friendly, and professional, considering we were there on a public holiday, service was top notch. The staff were ready to help out with maps and guiding us as we were unfamiliar with the surroundings. Amazing, and definitely check it out if you are in Katoomba!

A Great Way to See the Sights & Get Some History Too
On our last day in Sydney, we decided to see the Blue Mountains. To make sure we saw as much as possible, we chose the Hop On Hop Off Bus with the Scenic World Pass. We caught the bus in town and hit Scenic World first. Scenic is an understatement. We rode all 3 rides a couple of times each so we could get as many different views for our photos and videos. There are many different walking trails available ranging from easy to a bit longer and more challenging. The weather was perfect, so we hit most of them. The guide, given on the bus, lists them all with excellent descriptions. Now, a big shout out to our bus driver. Not only was his commentary interesting, but his humor elevated the whole experience. I later discovered that I had lost one of my credit cards. Aimee at Fantastic Aussie Tours reached out to me that afternoon to let me know the bus driver had found it. What a relief.

Great service. The welcome staff were very friendly. The bus driver should be on the stage. He was warm and friendly and very funny. The views are spectacular. The wildlife is amazing. Overall a great day.

Our bus driver, Angus, was a delight, making the trip more fun, and also gave great information and history on the Blue Mountains. We are visiting from Canada and were able to visit many spots in one day, including the three sisters, echo point, scenic world, Katoomba Falls, Leura falls, Cahill’s lookout, and Leura village. Leura village had lots of cute shops. I recommend the candy store, chocolate shop, and gift stores. I loved using this bus service to go around to different stops throughout the Blue Mountains!

Not good value
Not value for money. You would be better just using normal bus service. Bus on comes once an hour, so if you miss hop on time you are left waiting an hour. The normal bus service passing every few minutes.

Don’t get ripped off like us!
We purchased a ticket for 3 attractions (railway plus 2 cable cars) and hop on/off bus. This was from information office directly opposite train station when you get off. One of the cable car attractions was out of action. You pay big amount of money for hop on/off bus! There are local buses far quicker and cheaper that stop at same bus stops as hop on/off bus which only comes on the hour. So save yourself time and money and do it yourself 👍

Great way to get around!
Handy service to get around the area, but would be much better if they did pick ups every half hour rather than hourly, as some of the walks are super short, or slightly too long, which leaves you with a lot of wait time.

This was our first time visiting Katoomba. The bus tour was great, a friendly driver so full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend.

The drivers were very friendly and helpful and a great way to get around but just be careful if you have a companion card I would advise you if you only want to go to echo point and scenic world use government buses and purchase scenic world ticket there as this company charges you for scenic world even though they know it is free for the companion
