From the moment we started, their enthusiasm and knowledge about the city and its beautiful cherry blossoms shone through. Josh and Claire know all the best spots to capture the stunning cherry blossoms, and they helped us get some fantastic shots that truly encapsulated the essence of spring in Tokyo. We did a kawaii street food tour of Harajuku and Clara was amazing! She took us to places we wouldn’t have normally tried and everything was delicious! She also taught us a lot about the area and the culture. Would highly recommend!

This was, by far, my most favorite tour I’ve been on in Japan. Ako was an amazing tour guide. She was very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. The walk around the shops and then to the imperial palace garden was wonderful and enjoyable. We had a small and intimate group which is exactly how I enjoy seeing and exploring new places. Thank you, Ako, for making this a very enjoyable experience. You are amazing and wonderful!

Melissa Dunstan was our guide for our food tour. She was nothing shy of amazing. She took us around Osaka to learn about the city and let us taste some of the best spots to eat. She is so personable and made us comfortable from the start. I would highly recommend her

The guided tour on Uji was really enjoyable and informative. Led by tour guide Sanae from Arigato Travel we had a wonderful tour of this beautiful town on a picture perfect day! There was a lot to see, learn and admire as Sanae expertly guided us around gardens, shrines, temples including Byodoin and we had a matcha learning session plus a delightful matcha and hojicha ice cream treat to round off the tour. Loved every aspect of this tour as Sanae is a fantastic guide! Domo arigato Sanae!

Fantastic food tour. So glad that we did it and that we did it on day one. Yoshi was amazing he shared the perfect amount of history during the tour. The tour itself self was a perfect combination of walking and food. I’ve been to a lot of food tours and some are all talking or walking and like one food dish. This was a ridiculous amount of food and we got to walk it off at the same time all while checking out the city. Would 100% recommend!

BEST FOOD TOUR EVER WITH SERENA FROM ARIGATO TRAVEL. My husband, teenage daughter and I did the Tokyo food tour. Serena had tremendous knowledge of Japanese culture and the foods there and she was extremely informative. Plus they accommodated my daughter’s multiple allergies. If that’s not enough, she was also one of the most delightful people I’ve ever met. Definitely go on this tour and use Serena!!!

Great way to experience the Shimbashi food tour hidden gems. To learn the history, background and fun facts as described by our tour guide Dani on a private tour was an excellent experience. Dani explained it very nicely and made the whole experience worthwhile. We recommend it highly.

She took us to some great foodie spots and blended some history/culture into the tour as well, which was greatly appreciated - 5/5 highly recommended!

We had a fantastic Twilight tour of Asakusa with Kay! It was informative, fun, great bites of food, very family friendly. So much better in evening with fewer people. Ask for Kay.

Melissa led us on a great tour through Shibuya one evening. She was patient while we navigated through town to meet her and did a great job of explaining the history of the neighborhood as well as each dish and restaurant. We made five stops and had great food at each one, we even did a bonus stop at the toy machine arcade and everyone got to pick their own (very) small present. Melissa was a great guide, she’s personable and kind, and felt like a member of the family. Highly recommend Melissa for your Arigato Travel food tour!
