Our guide, Sae, was excellent. One person in our group had an allergy to shellfish and she made sure that the places we went would not inadvertently contaminate our food. We were very impressed with her English and honored that she took us to one of her personal favorites.

Olivia and Ami took us on a food tour of Hiroshima and it was AMAZING! They were kind, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience. They taught us so much about the city! The food was incredible too! If I could give them 10 stars I absolutely would. Shigeki was brilliant! We experienced some delicious Nara sushi and Tempura as well as Sake, cocktails and wine. We found hidden gems along the way as we explored Ginza and Shinbashi. I would have no hesitation to book any tour arranged by Arigato based on the 15 total half and full day tours they included in our 3-week Japan trip arranged by them. All were excellent. A Culinary Adventure in Hiroshima: Sake & Okonomiyaki Delight Embarking on a food tour in Hiroshima was nothing short of a sensory masterpiece. Hiroshima, known for its pristine water and ideal brewing conditions, delivered sake that was smooth, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. The guide’s explanations about the brewing process and regional variations added depth to the experience, making it more than just a tasting but a journey into the heart of Japanese craftsmanship. Then came the okonomiyaki, Hiroshima’s iconic savory pancake. We had such a great time on the Old Town Tokyo Tour and had so much wonderful food. Hannah G. was an excellent guide! We were especially appreciative of her knowledge of vegetarian options. Also, she shared great tips on eating vegetarian as we traveled and even recommended a signature dish for the next prefecture we were headed to. And the tea surprise to finish the tour was such a special experience. Highly recommended tour.

The Best of Shibuya tour with Jane was an outstanding experience! Wife and I had so much fun we forgot to take very many pictures :) Jane was super knowledgeable and showed us all of her favorite spots. We loved hearing about her life and experience with Tokyo and she showed us some really great food. It sounds basic: sushi, ramen, okonomiyaki, chicken wings (so good), and pudding desserts, but the Shibuya flavors with each dish really were diverse and excellent. Jane took such great care of us. It was a highlight of our trip. Enthusiastically recommend Shibuya with Jane!!!!!

Our guide was Shigeki, he was amazing and very knowledgeable guide, went to some amazing local spots that we would’ve definitely missed as tourists. Along the tour Shigeki would tell us about local landmarks. If I could give 10 starts I would. Definitely would do again
