Daniel was an awesome guide that explained the history of the different districts of Shinjuku and some really cool spots.

Did a great food and information tour in the Shinseki area. It is Osaka's Coney Island inspired region. Great foods to try and a tower slide as well. Great Guide Akiko . She was friendly and had us try new foods that were tasty. Thank you Akiko for a wonderful evening.

Teenagers and kids will love this!
We had so much fun! My kids were being entertained by our guide, Daniel, and he even got the 10 year-old to try sushi (he ate four pieces!) Our teenagers were so entertained and laughed all night while trying new foods and learning a lot about food customs. The parents got a special treat too. Our guide-in-training, Alex, was able to spend quality time answering all on our questions so we felt like we really had a special time as well.

Aleef gave us an incredible tour of local Hiroshima cuisines, and we had so much fun! The okonomiyaki from his favorite shop was also OUR favorite food of the night, and his knowledge and friendliness were a treat. Highly recommended and I would do this tour again!

We had a lot of fun in the Shinsekai street food tour and our guide Tomo was great all along the way! We requested indications for local restaurants and bars and Tomo was very polite to show us a local udon shop and a hidden bar in Dotomburi - we went to both afterwards and they were great indications.

Aleef Daniel was an incredible tour guide! He shared with us his favorite local Hiroshima cuisines (okonomiyaki was our favorite) and was very knowledgable about the foods and the area. He was nice and very easy to get along with, from start to finish. We had an incredible time and would do this tour again!

I took this tour in 2019 and was excited to go back with my wife and daughter. Although the tour guide was very friendly and engaging, we found the choice of restaurants to be underwhelming. It felt like we didn’t really get the value for the cost. Previous food tours in other cities left us excited, wasn’t the same outcome with this food tour. They should reconsider restaurant choices, as we wouldn’t visit any of those restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed our night out with Glenda at Shinjuku. She was attentive and took great care of our group at the various food stops, including freshly grilled skewers at a yakitori bar currently run by a 3rd generation owner. Delicious food, and an intriguing story! The 3-hour tour was informative and Glenda kept us entertained with historical and fun facts about the neighborhood, and Tokyo in general. We ended the night at Golden Gai which was filled with tourists meandering the streets and singing at karaoke bars. A fantastic experience! I highly recommend booking a tour with Arigato if you are a foodie exploring Japan!

Amazing Experience
We booked a three-hour experience and were fortunate to have Rai as our guide. Despite the rain, he brought us to four fantastic spots, each unique and memorable. He even stayed an extra hour so we could complete the full tour. I would recommend it to anyone visiting.

Serena was our tour guide for the Harajuku walking food tour and she exceeded expectations- she was informative, accommodating to the fact that we were traveling with children, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! The food stops were well spaced and offered a variety of options. One of the better food tours I’ve ever been on! It was definitely a highlight of our trip! Even my cantankerous ex-husband that was traveling with us and likes nothing thought it was well done.

This tour and Josh were amazing. Great history and background on the cocktail and drinking culture of Japan overall, as well as each stop. The tour was well curated to cover a variety of places to experience different drinks and delicious bites at each place. Highly recommend and ask for Josh!

Great food tour
We had a food tour led by Saika. The tour was informative and fun, and the food was delicious. Saika took the time to teach us about Japanese culture, and took us to a variety of great food spots. Would highly recommend this tour.
