We were guided by Ray on Friday 10th. He was a very engaging and charismatic host. We left with a strong understanding of the food we’d eaten. Other guides we experienced in Japan were great, but Ray was the most thorough.

Wonderful walking tour of the sake district in Saijo. Many tastes of different sakes , excellent lunch. My terrific guide Ami led me through the history of sake making , very knowledgeable and attentive to my preferences. Highly recommend

Food tour

The tour was excellent. We sampled all different kinds of Japanese food and drink. Kevin our guide was great. He is originally from England and is fluent in Japanese. He was very knowledgeable and took us to an amazing local sushi restaurant. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great food in retro Osaka

Tomo is a very friendly guide who loves to impart what he knows about the culture. He’s a food lover and aims to please his guests. The tour takes you through lively Shinsekei and you try lots of different tasty treats, both sweet and savory. The group is small allowing for lots of good conversation. We had a great time.

We did the evening food tour in Osaka with EK. He was kind, chatty and helpful and we enjoyed his company. We went to a variety of different food places and EK advised and helped us with ordering. It’s a good way to try a variety of foods with a local On hand to explain things and assist with choices.

During our stay in Japan we had the "Nightlife Osaka Food Tour". Our guide Pat showed us really interesting spots and the food was very tasty. Also the stories around the food spots were helpful in understanding Japan better. Pat is definitely an asset. The evening was one of the highlights of our Japan trip.

We had the best experience with our tour guide, Kaz. He was so friendly and took us on a lovely walking tour of the cherry blossoms in the Nippori area. He told us about the history of the area, bought us TONS of food (sushi, rice crackers, coffee, chicken/karaage, candy, etc.). He didn't rush us, he took us through some of the back streets away from the crowds, and he was so pleasant to be with for our few hours together. I would highly recommend any tour with Kaz.

We did the Golden Gai food tour with Jacob last night and had the most amazing time!! We never would have discovered the authentic places he brought us to, from memory alley to the neon lit streets of Golden Gai, he was so much fun and such a professional. What a wealth of knowledge! We were lucky to have him and he made the night so special.

Insightful tour with Serena. Great inside knowledge including local stories, art and culture, as well as hidden food finds. The portions were generous so go hungry. My teenage boys really enjoyed the tour and chatted away happily to Serena.
