Take an evening stroll through the energetic night market in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown and take the opportunity to test your bargaining skills when presented with its wide variety of merchandises spread. Petaling Street, KL's Chinatown, is a shoppers' paradise as it is full of almost everything, such as clothes, fabrics, souvenirs and much more all at massive bargains (not to mention the imitation goods!).

Stop at the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple located in the heart of Chinatown. Explore the temple, smell the burning jasmine, hear the Hindu priest chanting, admire the carved deities and feel the mystical aura.

Afterwards, enjoy a delicious Malay dinner at a typical local restaurant accompanied by traditional Malay cultural performances.

The basic dress code when visiting a Hindu Temple is: shoulders must be covered (easily done with a scarf or a shawl) and trousers or skirts must cover at least knees. Footwear is to be removed at the Entrance, where there are lockers
