Whittier Wildlife & Wilderness Photo Tour from Anchorage

You do not need to be a photographer nor have an expensive camera. Many of our guest use their smartphones! The trip to Whittier and Girdwood will be awe inspiring along the way. This trip will include the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, the longest tunnel in North America. There will be many stops that will include Flattop, Beluga Point, Bird Creek, Bird Point, several pullouts for wildlife, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Portage pullout with many glaciers, Girdwood, Alyeska Ski Resort, Virgin Creek Waterfall, and many more! These are very beautiful areas, so have extra batteries on hand! This tour is all about you, so plan on 9-10 hours (sometimes longer) for this tour! We do not get in a hurry and are not on a time-clock, so we include many more things that the others do not! We do more than just the "tourist spots", we go to the hidden and beautiful spots that few will ever see! Our photographer guide will teach you about the framing of your shot, composition of the shot, rule of 3rds and more to help you get that wall hanging shot! Portage Glacier and Alyeska Tram are additional cost not included with tour price. Our tour starts at 8am.

This trip will be focused on wildlife and landscape. It offers some of the most amazing views of Alaska. There is no disappointments on this trip as you will return home with those ultimate photographs of a lifetime!
