Matanuska Glacier Wildlife & Wilderness Photo Tour from Anchorage

The trip to Matanuska Glacier has many beautiful areas along the way. Stops will be made at Eklutna Tailrace, and pullouts along the way to the Glacier. Once at the glacier you will have many opportunities to photograph the glacier up close and on top of the glacier! Yes you can climb onto the glacier. This area is very beautiful so be prepared to be in awe! Have extra batteries oh hand and plan on 8-10 hours for this tour starting at 8am depending on the time of year. Some of the areas visited on this tour the state closes down in the winter. Sorry, no children 7 years of age and younger.

This trip will be focused on wildlife and landscape. It offers some of the most amazing views of Alaska. There is no disappointments on this trip as you will return home with those ultimate photographs of a lifetime!
