Meet your guide in Castle Square to begin your walking tour and set out to explore Warsaw’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. Start by admiring Sigismund’s Column, the 72-foot (22-meter) tall monument at the heart of the square, then follow your guide to landmarks like the Cathedral of St. John and the Warsaw Barbicane. Stroll around the lively Market Square, marvel at the striking red façade of the Royal Castle, and pose for photos by the Mermaid Monument.
Then, hear more about Warsaw’s fascinating history as you visit Krasińskich Square, the site of the Warsaw Uprising; Pilsudski Square, home to the Tomb of Unknown Soldiers; and Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, where the Presidential Palace and the University of Warsaw are located.
After three hours with your guide, either end your tour in the Old Town or continue your explorations on a 5- or 7-hour tour (depending on option selected).
