Taoping Qiang Village is an ideal place for you to learn Qiang people’s unique culture, language, art, and religion.  What's more, you could also explore the 'mysterious oriental castle' of the unique Qiang architecture. While Yingxiu town was the epicentre of the 8.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred on May 12, 2008. The remains of an old school have been kept until today for people to personally feel how the earthquake affected local people’s life as well as for science to study and learn how to save more lives if earthquake happens again in the future.
