Our tour will take you to discover Benevento and Pietrelcina, lands of witches and saints. Come with us, we will visit the splendid monuments that are there to witness a past rich in history perfectly preserved. We will admire the majestic Arco di Traiano, which stands in the center of the city, the Church and the monumental complex of Santa Sofia, a UNESCO heritage site. We will visit the Roman Theater, wanted by Caracalla, and its historic district, called "Triggio". Then the Hortus Conclusus, a splendid garden where you can admire the works of the artist Domenico Palladino. At the end we will reach Pietrelcina to visit the place where our beloved San Pio was born. The house is located at number 27 in Vico Storto Valle: a single room, which can be accessed by three external steps, to the right of those who enter, a bedside table and a double bed, from here a very used hand basin and an antique cassone, beyond a square table covered by a faded carpet, on which the books used by the Saint are piled.
