The Via Ferrata Mont-Catherine excursion is the perfect adventure for thrill seekers looking to test their limits while taking in the stunning views of Mont-Catherine. Whether you're an experienced climber or a first-timer, this excursion will provide a physical and technical challenge that will leave you feeling exhilarated.

The excursion is divided into two sections, the first takes about 1h30-2 hours. This section offers a physical, yet relatively easy ascent. Along the 1968 foot (600m) route, you will be connected to a steel cable throughout the entire excursion and will climb obstacles such ladders, metal steps and handles, and cross bridges and steel cables. You will also have the opportunity to swing between two sections on a chain.

The second section of about 45 min is more similar to rock climbing, with a vertical ascent up the cliff face that offers a real physical and technical challenge. The views of the entire region from the top are well worth the effort!

Your responsibilities:

1.You must be dressed appropriately:
• This activity requires a good pair of running shoes, hiking shoes or boots are recommended No crocs or sandals please.
• Long pants (no jeans) to protect your knees from rubbing along the rock face.
• Dresses or skirts are not appropriate. We supply climbing harnesses but they need to fit over your pants/shorts.
• Tie up long hair.
• Make sure to wear proper sun protection.

2. You must be at the designated meeting point on time. There are no refunds for no-shows or latecomers

• The via ferrata is physically demanding.
• 10 years old minimum
• Minimum weight is 100 lbs / 45 kg
• Maximum weight is 220 lbs / 100 kg
• Maximum waist size 52 inches, 132 cm
• Children must be accompanied by an adult
• Participants must wear closed-toe sport shoes
• Participants should not wear any jewelry and long hair should be attached.
• Bring a snack and a water bottle.
• Pregnant women may not participate
•There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough participants to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
