Venice Food Tour Including Rialto Market and Cicchetti

Meet your guide in central Venice. Your tour starts in the morning and lasts through lunchtime, so be sure to come hungry.

First, head to the bustling Rialto Market, where locals come to buy daily food essentials. Interact with stallholders, and discuss Venice’s rich food heritage with your guide.

Then, board a gondola to cross the Grand Canal to Cannaregio, one of Venice’s most lively districts that’s off the typical tourist trail. Stop at a local bar for cicchetti—Venice’s answer to Spanish tapas—and a glass of wine, prosecco, or spritz. Then visit a second bar to sample fritti, traditional fried snacks.

Your final stop is at a neighborhood trattoria, where you enjoy a classic plate of pasta and a glass of wine. The tour concludes back near the Rialto Bridge.
