- Self-Guided Basilica Visit for Late Tours: For tours starting at 3:00 PM or later, the visit to St. Peter’s Basilica will be self-guided due to limited access hours for guided tours.
- Basilica and Sistine Chapel Closures and Access Restrictions: St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on Wednesday mornings (8 AM–12 PM), and on December 24 and 31. Access to the Basilica and the Sistine Chapel may also be restricted without notice due to religious ceremonies or events, such as Jubilee Masses or Sede Vacante (papal transition). In cases of closure, your guide will extend time inside the Vatican Museums. No refunds or partial reimbursements are issued.
- Baby strollers are not permitted inside, even if they are foldable. Please plan accordingly.

Superb experience with an amazing guide
3 hours long, but the time flew by! The Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, and St Peter’s Basilica, with just the right amount of time everywhere. However, what really made this tour was our guide; knowledgeable, interesting, and highlighting everything we should see. A really memorable tour, and highly recommended.

Vatican City was amazing....
Vatican City was amazing. Beautiful. We loved it. Wear comfortable shoes. Very crowded. Worth the money. The reason I didn’t give it a 5 was because of our tour guide. Not very personable. She was not friendly. We had an 86 year old man in our group and she never made sure he was alright. We looked out for him.

During periods of Sede Vacante, the Sistine Chapel will be closed to the public without prior notice due to the Papal Conclave (election of a new Pope). As this is a decision made by the Vatican, access to the Sistine Chapel is not guaranteed during these times. No refunds or discounts will be issued in the event of such closures.
