- ID may be required for entrance (especially for guests under the age of 18). Guests who show up without ID cannot be guaranteed entrance.
- It is forbidden to bring inside the Colosseum: glass, sharped objects, alcohol, spray
- Comfortable shoes are recommended
- In July and August due to the heat the duration of the visit is 2 hours and a half

Information-packed!

This was my first tour in which the tour was provided by a large tour company. It was crowded and a bit chaotic but I think that’s unavoidable given the volume of tourists that visit these sites daily. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice.
