After going through all airport formalities and picking up your belongings from the right belt at one of Bangkok’s International Airport, your car and driver are ready to safely drive to Aranyaprathet and your holiday resort. Through a corridor of other guides, you will recognize your guide as he holds up your name at the exit door for either international or domestic arrivals. Guides will guide you to your air-conditioned vehicle, ready for a swift ride out from the capital and onto the main express way in southern direction. With both airports excellently connected towards Thailand’s main highways, you will be out of Bangkok in no time.
Via highway number 33, the main connection that has made overland travel possible between Bangkok and the Thai – Cambodian border, the driver follows the road straight towards Aranyaprathet. Following the gently flowing landscape, dotted with factories and sceneries of green, an authentic, somewhat sleepy side of Thailand will soon make way for Isarn, and the laid-back town of Aranyaprathet.
The approximately 6.5-hour drive ends at the immigration check point at the Thailand side, where your guide will assist you in bringing you to the booths to get your Cambodian visa-on-arrival.
