After early morning pickup from your Bangkok hotel, travel north in an air-conditioned vehicle for about one hour to reach Ayutthaya.
Upon arrival, receive a safety briefing and bike gear, then set out with your guide on a leisurely 15-mile (25-km) ride with plenty of stops for sightseeing and rest. Pass ancient temple ruin, local communities and scenic landscapes as you go off the beaten track for an authentic experience of Thailand.
See the revered temple Wat Phra Mahathat, and learn from your guide about the long history of Ayutthaya, which was the capital of Siam for hundreds of years until 1767.
Depart from the main roads to pedal through the Thai countryside and take back roads that run alongside the Chao Phraya River. Cross the river by local ferry to have lunch at a local Thai restaurant right en route towards our afternoon visits
After lunch, visit Wat Niwet Thamaprawat, a gothic-style temple on an island in the river, then continue riding to a pier where you re-cross the river and meet your driver for the journey back to Bangkok.
Your tour ends around 6pm with drop-off at your Bangkok hotel.
