Traditional Weaving Experience

Summary

You will be picked up at your hotel to a local village handicraft workshops where the villagers produce local woven cloth.  Enjoy welcome drink while the instructor explains about the weaving technique, the history and how to wear the woven cloth in a daily Javanese life. The instructor will then demonstrate how to do the weaving and you will be able to try it yourself. After finishing the weaving process, you will enjoy a traditional lunch.  You will then be transferred back to the meeting point/hotel.   Facilities • Transfer to and from the hotel/meeting point • Instructor • Lunch • Mineral Water note: You can also make your own typical Javanese souvenirs and bring it back home for additional charge.
