Make your way to Oeiras Harbour, a short train journey from Lisbon and Cascais, and head to the Bork You Store on the waterfront. Here, you’ll greet your instructor and get kitted out in your protective gear. Initially, you’ll master basic paddleboard techniques on the sand: learn to balance, steer and stroke, in addition to falling and recovery techniques. Once you feel confident, take to the water and paddle to picturesque spots such as Santo Amaro Beach and the sea fortresses of St. Julian. During your lesson, you’ll have the chance to increase your paddleboard endurance by travelling the distance you feel most comfortable with. After two hours, return your equipment to the office and bid your instructor farewell.

Why take this tour?

Learn the latest water sport craze during this 2-hour stand up paddle board experience on the Lisbon coast. Develop fundamental skills such as balance, proper stroke, steering, and fall and recovery techniques, all while having boat loads of fun. After the basics, learn to build endurance for longer paddles and get an introduction to wave surfing in the Oeiras Marina. Our instructors are certified by the Surf and Kayak federations and ensure a safe and fun experience. We supply all the equipment, including paddle board, life jacket, leash, and wetsuit, so you can focus on building your skills and enjoying your paddle.
