SSI Advanced Open Water (Advanced Adventurer)

The Advanced open water course expands your diving skills and experience with 5 great dives. The dives include but are not limited to Deep, Navigation, Night, Wreck, Nitrox, Fish ID, Perfect Bouyancy, Search & Recovery.

• The corse runs over 2-3 days depending on your choice of dives and requires that you spend at least 2 nights on the island.

• We run these courses with a normal ratio of 2-4 customers to 1 instructor. For larger groups of friends/family who want to dive together we increase the number of instructors.

•The dives are from our dive boat and between the dives you can soak up the sun and amazing views as we take a meal break on the boat.

• The equipment includes a choice of short or long suit, 5mm boots to prevent blisters, fins, mask(regular, large face, small face and prescription masks are available), regulator and BCD. We have tea, coffee, drinking water, fruit and lunch to keep you refreshed.

Scuba diving allows you to experience a new world in virtually zero gravity with amazing wildlife.

The advanced course expands on your open water diving skills. This allows you to go deeper, explore wrecks, dive at night and generally improve your dive skills.

No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
Should you answer 'Yes' to any of the medical questions you will be required to have your fitness to dive signed off by a doctor.
For the morning dives you must check in the day before (Before 9pm) to complete the dive trip paperwork and check equipment sizes.
You need to be staying at least two nights on the island to be able to dive with us.
A break of 24 hours is required between finishing the dives and flying.
Pick up from other parts of the island is not possible, it is recommended that you stay in Tonsai Bay (the main village on Phi Phi).
