Discover Scuba diving

• We run the discover Scuba Diving trip with a normal ratio of 2 customers to 1 instructor. For larger groups of friends/family who want to dive together we increase the number of instructors.

• You have the option of diving in the morning or afternoon.

• Morning trips run from 7.30am to 12.30pm.

• Afternoon trips run from 1.30pm to 6pm.

• The program includes a briefing on the do's and don’ts of scuba diving and then a short session (10-15 minutes) in shallow water learning the basic diving skills that you will need for your dives. Following this there are 2 dives on the reefs of Phi Phi Lee and the Bida Islands with each dive up to 1 hour under water (maximum of 2 hours diving in total). The dives are from our dive boat and between the dives you can soak up the sun and amazing views as we take a meal break on the boat.

• The equipment includes a choice of short or long suit, 5mm boots to prevent blisters, fins, mask(regular, large face, small face and prescription masks are available), regulator and BCD. We have tea, coffee, drinking water, fruit and lunch to keep you refreshed.

Scuba diving allows you to experience a new world in virtually zero gravity with amazing wildlife.

The Discover Scuba Diving/Try Diving trip is ideal for beginners with no dive license or people who have dived before but have not had the time to complete a course. The trip takes half a day and can be counted towards the Open Water diver course.

All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
Should you answer 'Yes' to any of the medical questions you will be required to have your fitness to dive signed off by a doctor. Please contact us by email for a copy of the medical questionnaire.
For the morning dives you must check in the day before (Before 9pm) to complete the dive trip paperwork and check equipment sizes.
The minimum age for scuba diving is 10. All children must be accompanied by an adult(the adult does not need to dive).
You need to be staying at least one night on the island to be able to dive with us.
A break of 24 hours is required between finishing the dives and flying.
Pick up from other parts of the island is not possible, it is recommended that you stay in Tonsai Bay (the main village on Phi Phi).

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
