Snorkelling with One Ocean Stone Town reflects the vibrant, busy hustle and bustle you find in the small streets of Stone Town. Here, coral grows in huge amounts: coral-gardens, long plunging walls, underwater mountains and wrecks interchange with each other, forming a haven for the many different kind of fish who live here. We offer half-day snorkelling trips with 2 sessions of snorkelling (45 minutes each) and a break on the boat with fresh fruit and local snacks as well as drinking water. A normal morning with us looks as follows: Meet at our diving centre. If not yet done, paperwork and payment as well as equipment fitting would have to be done before boat departure. 1st session: Diving or snorkelling for 45 minutes. break on the boat: Drinking water, snacks of local food and a seasonal platter of fruit are served. 2nd session: Diving or snorkelling for 45 minutes. Our boats return to the dive centres early afternoon. The price includes equipment rental (mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit) and a snorkel guide.  We have flotation devices on our boats but for safety and comfort reasons we don't take non-swimmers on our trips. The minimum age for children is 10 years. Minors have to be accompanied by a parent during the whole trip duration (in-water and on the boat).

Snorkelling from One Ocean Stone Town gives you the luxury to have a colourful reef almost only for yourself as we head to our selected reefs which are far away from the most crowded ones. Meeting time is at 8:30 a.m. and we are back early afternoon at 2:00 p.m. We will do or 2 snorkelling sessions with a surface interval spent on the boat where a delicious snack made of seasonal fruit and traditional Swahili food can be enjoyed.

Come and discover the amazing underwater world and the bottlenose dolphins at the famous Mnemba Atoll in the Indian Ocean. We are the only the dive operator in Zanzibar to have a dive centre in Stone Town on the west coast where we dive the reefs in front of Stone Town and we can do wreck dives and night dives. One Ocean is in-house with the full dive operation and boat launching site at Bluebay Beach Resort in Kiwengwa and Matemwe Beach Village in Matemwe. Inside Ocean Paradise Resort we have a booking office and pool facility! Kiwengwa and Matemwe are located on the north-east coast of Zanzibar close to Mnemba Atoll, with the best diving and snorkelling spot in Zanzibar! Dive packages can be shared among our different locations to give more variety to our divers. We have very high safety and environmental standards.
