Your tour begins with pickup from central Tromso. Meet your guide, settle into the vehicle, and head west of the city and into the Arctic wilderness.

On the way to Kvaloya (or "Whale Island"), one of Norway's most stunning islands, there are plenty of opportunities to admire and take pictures of the fjords, mountains, beaches, lakes, forests, and small villages in the countryside outside of Tromso. Along the way, stop for a snack and a cup of hot chocolate as you take in the views and look for such wildlife as reindeer, seals, and eagles. With luck, you'll even see some of the humpbacks and orcas that give Whale Island its name.

After you are dropped off back in central Tromso, your guide emails souvenir photos so you can remember a great day in the wild Arctic.

Please be prepared for limited toilet facilities, there will be a gas station stop during the drive, however the tour itself is in the wild Arctic nature where the only toilet possibilities are in the forest (there are no pre-built facilities)
