Rogue River Intro-to-River Running 2-day Adventure

Spend 2 days exploring the beginner friendly recreation section of the world famous Rogue River. Over two days novice paddlers can challenge themselves as they paddle in inflatable kayaks through over a dozen class II rapids and then relax in the tranquil pools between them. For two days you can come escape cell phone service and the problems of life for a couple of days enjoying the much slower and relaxing river time.

After the first day paddling down the river the group will camp on a beach riverside. Kids can swim in the river at camp while parents enjoy a beverage or both can enjoy a game of horseshoes or a game of cards. Later in the evening the guides will serve a delicious 3-course dinner for everyone to enjoy.

The final day of whitewater has the biggest rapids yet providing a thrilling finale to this two day river vacation. Af the end of the trip we will return you to our vehicle at our shop in Merlin.

Spend two days learning to paddle your own inflatable kayak down the river through the whitewater. Our guides will teach you the basic skills to navigate the numerous class II rapids, where after two days you will feel like a pro. Younger kids or those looking for a milder adventure can ride in a raft captained by one of our experienced river guides. Spend your night sitting around the campfire and sleeping under the stars after eating a delicious meal cooked by our guides in camp. On this trip you float through a federally protected section of the world famous Rogue River. This section has been protected for over 50 years by the Federal Government due to its high quality rafting and spectacular scenery. So come learn to paddle an inflatable kayak on one of America's most famous and scenic rivers.
