Why take this tour?
The whole purpose of the beginner climbing activity is about doing as much climbing as possible and trying different types of rock climbs. You’ll be learning all of the basic skills in a safe and practical way, under the supervision of a Mountain Adventure Lake District instructor. During your time with your instructor you’ll learn things like putting on a Harness, tying in, movement on the rock and much more. No previous experience is needed just bags of energy to try something new and exciting ! You can either take part in a half day of climbing and add another activity to make a full day of action alternatively you can opt in for a full days on the rock.

Throughout the Lake District we run Mountain skill courses helping people to learn the skills to go out in to the mountains and explore the beautiful UK country side. Also during the summer we help to provide support, planning and logistics for national charity challenge events such as the National 3 peaks, Helping people to raise awareness and much needed funds for there chosen charity .
