Ride Berber horses in Todra Gorge - Aventures Verticales Maroc
Summary
Tour info
Why take this tour?
Spend a half or full day exploring Todra Gorge from the back of a horse. The Moroccan Barb horse is an ancient breed thought to have originated in North Africa in the 8th century. It is perfectly adapted for navigating the harsh, rocky terrain of the High Atlas mountains. Meander through the shaded river valley and climb high onto the Todra plateau to gain a glimpse authentic Moroccan life and discover the Todra Gorge from a different perspective. You'll be accompanied on your ride by Emily, a professional horse trainer and riding instructor for 15 years (Canada and New Zealand).
