You'll start your hike in the village of Tizgui, at the entrance of the impressive Todra Gorge. From there, you'll hike with your guide up into the mountains high above the gorge on paths worn deep into the rock by nomadic people who have been walking these paths for millennia. As you gain altitude, you'll be privileged with spectacular vistas of the Todra Gorge and surrounding High Atlas Mountains.
You'll stop for the night in a nomadic encampment perched high in the rocky terrain. You'll be hosted by a nomadic family and gain an intimate glimpse into their way of life.
Please note that accommodation in nomad camps is very basic. We suggest packing a sleeping bag and thermarest mattress, both of which are available for rent in our shop.
