Your tour begins with pickup from your Playa Flamingo hotel between 6am and 7am, when you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for the Blue River Resort and Hot Springs. Following a 2.5-hour journey, you’ll arrive at the resort and receive a welcome cocktail before changing clothes in preparation for your zipline adventure. Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll soar over the rain forest canopy on nine ziplines and then swing down from the trees on a Tarzan swing. Your adventure culminates with a rain forest hike, which takes you past volcanic rivers, cascading waterfalls, and biodiverse flora and fauna. Return to the Blue River Resort for lunch and then spend the afternoon enjoying the resort’s facilities, which include mud baths, hot springs, and natural swimming pools. Don’t miss out on the tropical botanical gardens, home to more than 700 different species, and the butterfly garden. Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off at around 7pm.
