Tingalpa Creek is one of the best places for kayaking in the Redlands, therefore selected home for the Redlands Canoe Club
. The Creek flows along Brisbane’s south east boundary with Redland City Council.
The Waterway serves as important wildlife corridor on the city’s fringe, for example you can spot an assortment of birds such as Herons, Ibis Egrets.
The water catchment area covers 150
km² and is a great spot for fishing!
We are located just twenty kilometers from Brisbane CBD by car, or you can take a train trip to
Thorneside Railway Station, which is ~400m from the Boat Ramp.
Nearby amenities include toilets, a small Shopping Centre and some local Cafes.
