Meet a driver in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, and then travel to Jerusalem’s Old City in a climate-controlled vehicle, learning about local history along the way. This is a great time to discuss plans for the day, as your guide can tailor your itinerary to suit you and your group. The first stop is the Mount of Olives, where you’ll have sweeping views across Jerusalem’s Old City, the Dome of the Rock, and Temple Mount.
Enter the Old City through one of the historic gates, see the restored Byzantine Cardo, and stop at the Western Wall, also called the Wailing Wall. In the Christian Quarter, follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Then, travel to the Dead Sea for an afternoon on the beach, with free time to swim or take a mud bath before returning to your original departure point.
