In this program, a nationally-accredited sushi instructor will take you to their private home to take part in a hands-on cooking class.
In this class, you will learn all about the history and culture of Japanese sushi and learn to make various different types of sushi, including "nigiri sushi," traditional hand-moulded sushi, and "gunkan maki," also known as boat-shaped sushi, which is hand-moulded sushi wrapped in nori seaweed and topped with a soft ingredient.
After your class, you will settle down to have a private lunch with your Japanese host, where they will teach you all about Japanese sushi etiquette.
