Traditional Japanese Calligraphy Workshop (Near Tokyo Tower)

In this hands-on, dynamic session, guests learn about the history and features of Japanese calligraphy, all while practicing their calligraphy skills under the instruction of our professional Japanese calligraphers.

For the first half of the program, our calligraphers will teach you the tricks and techniques of Japanese calligraphy. You will learn the different components of the Japanese writing system and how to write them. Then, in the second half, guests will have the opportunity to put their new skills into practice by making a calligraphy piece of their own on a souvenir calligraphy board.
