Your tour begins with an early morning pickup from your central Xi'an hotel in time for an 8am departure. Traveling in the comfort of a private air-conditioned vehicle, relax on the around 2-hour drive to HuaShan Mountain, stopping along the way to use the restrooms or purchase refreshments if you wish.
On arrival, hop on the cable car for a thrilling ride to the top of the North Peak, a dizzying 5,295 feet (1,614 meters) above sea level. As you hike around the summit and gaze out from the precipitous cliffs, hear from your guide how the mountain’s treacherous hiking and climbing trails have earned it a reputation as one of the ‘most dangerous hikes in the world’.
Thankfully, you don’t need to worry about that — when you’ve finished admiring the views, you can ride safely down on the cable car, before enjoying a delicious Chinese-style lunch at a local restaurant.
Finally, return to Xi'an, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel around 5pm.
