Await pickup from your guide at 8am at your Beijing hotel and board a private air-conditioned vehicle destined for the UNESCO-listed Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.
Following a 40-minute drive, you’ll arrive at the archaeological site and learn about how the figures were discovered by local farmers in 1974. See pits filled with life-sized figures that date back to 210BC, all depicting different occupations. In Pit 1 alone, 6,000 well-preserved warriors stand ready to defend China’s first emperor in the afterlife.
After exploring the museum at your own pace, revitalize with a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Xian City Wall (Chengqiang), considered one of the best preserved city walls in China.
Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off at around 5pm.
